Myra Hindus

Myra Hindus is currently the Principal of Creative Diversity Solutions, a new company focused on consulting and coaching in the area of diversity. She is also currently serving as the Sexual Harassment Consultant to the Office of the Assistant to the President at Harvard University.

Myra brings over 30 years of experience working both as an administrator and consultant on diversity related issues. In all of her work, Myra draws upon her numerous years of experience in higher education at Berklee College of Music, University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Princeton University, and the University of Connecticut. At Berklee, Myra served as the inaugural Vice President for Cultural Diversity and founded the college's first Office for Cultural Diversity. In this role she worked closely with the Office of the President to develop comprehensive programs and to implement related college-wide strategic plans. While at Princeton, she established SHARE, a pioneering program to combat sexual violence on campus. At the University of Connecticut, she directed the Women's Center and also helped establish the Office of Multicultural Affairs. At the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Myra worked on gender issues for eight years, with a focus on sexual harassment and sexual assault. During her career, she also worked for the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation for seven years, leading a statewide diversity initiative.

Myra now resides in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts and is a also a native of the Boston area.
